Nearly 14 people were hurt after a small school bus spun out of control and crashed into an SUV in Irvington, New Jersey.

Details of the Irvington Bus Crash

CBS News reports the mini school bus was driving down Sanford Avenue when it slammed into a Rav 4 causing the Rav 4 to hit a light pole. The bus then crashed into the side of a liquor store before coming to a halt.

The mini bus was holding 11 children between the ages of 3 and 11 and two adults, one of whom was the bus driver. Luckily, no one involved in the accident was seriously injured.

The driver reported the crash was caused by a brake failure; however, investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.

Authorities investigating the incident noted that the bus was operated by Horizon Link School, LLC, a company with a history of violations. The most recent inspection of the company found that 96% of the vehicles did not meet driving standards and needed to be inspected immediately.
