Nine Hurt in North Harris County Crash

At least nine people were hurt in an overnight crash in north Harris County on Monday night.

KPRC News in Houston is reporting that at least nine people were injured, including a 5-month-old, and a toddler in a crash in north Harris County on Monday night.

Officials who responded to the scene of the accident say that at about 9:15 p.m. a white Dodge pickup, occupied by six children ranging from the ages of infancy to 5-years-old and three adults, was traveling south on Central Greens Boulevard when another pickup ran a stop sign and slammed into the Dodge causing it to go off the roadway and eventually hit a tree.

Five of the children and two adults that were passengers in the Dodge were taken to various hospitals to be treated for their injuries. A 2-year-old was taken to the Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital in serious condition.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is currently being conducted.
