Nissan Crossovers and SUVs Recalled
According to Reuters, Nissan Motor Co. has issued a recall on 768,000 vehicles for various problems. Models recalled include the Rogue crossover and Pathfinder SUV.
About the Nissan Motor Co. Recalls
Rogue vehicles have been recalled due to moisture seeping through the driver side floor. This can cause and electrical short and potential fire. About 552,135 of these cars have been recalled. An estimated 468,815 are registered in the United States.
The Pathfinder SUVs and Infiniti JX35 have been recalled for hood latches. About 170, 664 of these vehicles are registered in the U.S. The problems are more prevalent in rental vehicles when drivers unintentionally dislodged the secondary hoof latch. No reports of injuries; however, vehicles have been damaged due to the defect.
52,312 Rouge crossovers, 15,972 Pathfinder and JX35 SUVs will be recalled in Canada. Nissan also reported that the Rogue would be recalled in three countries and the SUVs in 30 additional countries.

Nissan’s recall covers the following model year vehicles:
- 2008-2013 Nissan Rogues Crossovers
- 2013-2014 Nissan Pathfinder SUVs
- 2013 Infiniti JX35
