Details about the Fatal Hit and Run

Fox News 4 is reporting that one man was killed in a hit and run accident that happened on Westmoreland Road, which is in West Oak Cliff, on Wednesday evening.

According to police, Timothy C. McGraw was standing in the right lane of the road attempting to help another person back a car onto a trailer in a driveway on the 600 block of South Westmoreland Road, when a GMC Yukon lost control, hit a wooden utility pole and then hit McGraw. The accident happened at about 8:58 p.m.

Witness of the accident have said that the Yukon was speeding. The driver of the Yukon jumped out of the vehicle and ran away from the location. McGraw was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
