Office Depot Chairs Recalled Due to Injury
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and True Innovations LLC announced a voluntary recall of the Realspace Soho Prestigio High-Back Leather Chair after several reports of breakage of the seat plate, including one fall-related injury. The chairs were sold exclusively at Office Depot from October 2008 through February 2011 for $250.
- The names “Realspace Soho” and “Prestigio High-Back Chair Black Leather” are printed on a label on the chair bottom, along with SKU number 181-265.
- About 4,800 of the high-backed, black leather chairs were sold at Office Depot stores and online at OfficeDepot.com.
- Consumers should immediately discontinue use of the chairs and contact True Innovations for a free replacement seat plate and installation tool.
