A hazardous materials response team has been sent to a Plymouth, Massachusetts elementary school following the death of an unidentified employee.

Details of the Plymouth School Investigation

According to FOX News, authorities are investigating whether the death of an employee at an elementary school in Massachusetts is related work being done on the premises.

Nine public safety employees were also transported to the hospital Monday afternoon along with another school employee after complaining of illness and symptoms including throat and eye irritation.

The Boston Globe indicates that the fatality may have been a school custodian, reporting that the wife of a custodian claimed that she had received notification of her husband’s death.

Investigations are ongoing, but an early analysis suggested chemical levels in the building were very low. Additional analysis is being conducted.
