Ohio Authorities Investigate Fatal School Bus Accident

A memorial is being held for a 21-year-old woman who was killed in a head-on collision with a school bus.

About the Fatal Collision

According to WHIO, the incident occurred around 7 a.m. January 29. 21-year-old Taylor Dickey was ejected from her car upon and died on the scene.

Nine students on the bus suffered from minor injuries. The bus driver, Dee Kauffman, stated that it was her first year driving for the district, but was experienced and handled the situation very well.

The first people to respond to the scene were faculty of the school. They did the best they could by putting out the car fire with a fire extinguisher.

In one of the most recent reports, it was stated that several beer cans were recovered from the scene. The cans are believed to have been ejected from Dickey's car, along with her body at the time of the crash.
