One Adult, One Child Killed in Haines City Accident

Details about the Fatal Haines City Accident

WFLA News is reporting that two people, including a child, were killed on Monday in a four-vehicle accident that happened in Haines City. According to police, the accident happened at about 4 p.m. on Monday near US Highway 27 and Patterson Road.

The Haines City Police Department stated that a black 2012 Mazda CX9 was heading north along Highway 27 when it crossed over the median and into the southbound lanes.

The Mazda SUV sideswiped a 2008 black Lexus. The Mazda then hit a Hyundai Elantra, which was being driven by Eric Frazier. 57-year-old Frazier was killed at the scene of the accident. After being hit, the Hyundai moved into the path of a Toyota Camry.

A total of five children and multiple adults were taken to local hospital after the accident. 9-year-old Kemarion Hunter was one of the passengers in the Mazda, and he later died at the Arnold Palmer Hospital.
