One Killed, Four Injured in Single-Vehicle Rollover

A teenage girl was killed and four were injured in an accident on Tuesday.  

Details about the Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that a female high school student was killed in an accident in Whittier on Tuesday in which the car she and other classmates were riding in rolled over, according to authorities.

A witness at the scene of the accident stated he was practicing at a golf course when he heard tires screeching and a loud crash.

According to police the accident happened just before 11:30 a.m., along the 8400 block of Villaverde Drive and that no other vehicles were involved. One person – a female high school student – was killed in the accident and several others were taken to area hospitals.

A statement from the Whittier Union High School District confirmed that the girl who was killed and the other students who were injured did attend high school in Whittier.
