One Killed in large Truck Accident in Colorado

One person was killed in an accident involving a semi-trailer in Colorado.

Details about the Fatal Semi-Trailer Accident

KDVR News is reporting that one person was killed in a multiple vehicle accident that happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70, just west of Sixth Avenue, late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Golden Police Department.

The Golden Police Department has also stated that the accident happened at about 4:15 p.m., and involved a semi-truck and three other passenger vehicles. The driver of one of the passenger vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and another person was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck, a 41-year-old man from California, was driving with a valid commercial license, and consented to a blood test at the Golden Police Department. He was released pending the outcome of the investigation.
