One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in Palm Springs.

Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accidents

KESQ News is reporting that a 63-year-old man, from Cathedral City, who was killed in an accident that happened in Palm Springs on Wednesday night has been identified by a Palm Springs coroner on Thursday morning. The man’s identity has been released as Kim Peckham.

The Palm Springs Police arrived at the intersection of Crossley Road and Dinah Shore Drive at about 5:30 p.m. in response to a car that was hit by a motorcycle.

Officers indicated that the motorcyclist was heading east on Dinah Shore Drive when the motorcycle collided with a vehicle as it was turning south onto Crossley Road. The motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle suffered from minor injuries and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
