One Killed in Truck Accident in Minnesota

One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 63 in Minnesota on Friday afternoon.

Details about the Fatal Accident in Minnesota

The Austin Daily Herald is reporting that a woman from Iowa was killed in an accident that happened on Highway 63, just north of the Iowa border in Minnesota on Friday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the victim has been identified as Rochel Buck of Cresco, Iowa. Buck was killed when her Chevrolet Impala was traveling north on Highway 63 and collided with a semi-truck that was being driven by Kenneth Lynch of Independence, Iowa.

The accident happened at around 4:40 p.m. only about six miles north of the Iowa border in Minnesota.

Rochel Buck was killed at the scene of the impact. There is no word on the condition of the driver of the semi-truck and whether or not he suffered any injuries.

Emergency crews who responded to the scene of the accident were the Spring Valley Fire Department, LeRoy Ambulance, and the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Department.
