One Killed, Two Injured after Roller Coaster Accident
One girl was killed and two others were injured in carnival ride accident in El Paso over the weekend.
Details about the Fatal Carnival Ride Accident
Another female teenager was also ejected from “The Sizzler” ride at the carnival at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. That teenager sustained injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital. A third female passenger was not ejected from the ride, but was treated at the scene of the accident.
The condition of the teenager who was rusihed to the hospital is currently unknown. The carnival was set up for the church’s Dia De Los Ninos Fiesta celebration. Sergeant Carrillo of the El Paso police department confirmed the ages of the girls to have been between 15 and 18.
According to Sergeant Carrillo, the accident remains under investigation, but the cause of the incident currently remains unknown at this time.
