Details about the Fatal Accident in Plainview

KCBD News is reporting that an investigation is currently underway for a fatal accident that happened in Plainview.

 According to Plainview officials, the accident happened at about 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, when they received calls about an accident that happened on the 1600 block of Kokomo Street. A truck lost control and damaged several other vehicles. Authorities have indicated that the driver of the truck was armed at the time of the accident, but not shots were fired.

A witness of the accident says that a Dodge Ram lost control and crashed into the home in front of her house. The driver of the truck was killed in the accident. The identity of the driver who was killed has not been released at this time, but family members have confirmed that the man was a father and husband from the Plainview area.
