Details about the Rollover Accident

Multiple sources are reporting that a 31-year-old woman was killed on Sunday morning after being involved in a one-car accident when her car went off the road and overturned, according to police.

The woman who died in the accident has been identified as Jennifer P. Stamp, of Athens, according to the Vermont State Police. Stamp was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The rollover happened just before 6: 30 a.m. on Sunday morning near Brookline Road and Miller Road, the police said.

The vehicle she was driving, a 2014 Subaru Impreza, somehow went off the road and then flipped onto its roof, according to police.

Stamp was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident.

Police have indicated that the road conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident.

Police further indicated that Stamp was driving south at a high rate of speed when the car went off the road, hit an embankment, and then rolled over.
