Over 200,000 Hyundai Santa Fe Vehicles Recalled

Phylicia Taylor2 years ago

Hyundai has recently recalled approximately 225,000 vehicles due to a safety hazard.

About the Vehicle Recall

According to reports, road salt can cause the front coil spring to corrode. If this happens, it will cause the coil spring to fracture and make contact with the tire. Such an event may lead to the puncturing of tires, increasing the risk of a crash.

Consumers should contact Hyundai or the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) for more information about the free inspection and, if necessary, the repair of the coil spring.

Description of Recalled Vehicles

  • The recall involves 2001 – 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe crossover vehicles.
