Pedestrian Injured in San Antonio Hit-and-Run

This Thursday evening, a vehicle struck a pedestrian in his 40s in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, Texas.

About the Hit-and-Run Accident

According to the San Antonio Express-News, the victim was in the crosswalk with the right of way when he was hit. He was crossing Fredericksburg Road at Blanco Road.

The driver of the red vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian received serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital. His condition is not immediately available.

Failure to stop and render aid in an accident involving serious bodily injury or death is a second-degree felony. It is punishable by 2 to 20 years in prison and fines up to $10,000.
