Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By Car

An accident left a pedestrian dead Monday night after he was hit by a car in Greenville, South Carolina

About the South Carolina Pedestrian Accident

According to WYFF, the incident occurred just before 10:00 p.m. on Wade Hampton near Batesview Drive.

The man, identified as 46-year-old Jeffrey Daniel Wilson, was transported to Greenville Memorial hospital where he was reported to have died.

The scene is still under investigation. Wilson’s cause of death is also pending.

    • Pedestrian fatalities in 2012 saw an increase of 6 percent from 2011 and were the highest number of fatalities in the last 5 years.
