Pedestrian Suspected to Survive Harris Co. Crash

Authorities in Houston are investigating a pedestrian accident that left a woman seriously injured Wednesday evening.

Details of the Harris County Pedestrian Accident

KHOU reports that a 54-year-old woman who was struck by a car at the intersection of Queenston and Forest Heights is suspected to survive her injuries.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the women was trying to cross the intersection around 9 pm Wedesday, but went against a red light. She was then struck by a car, which had the green light.

Police report that there was no alcohol involved. The victim is recovering Memorial Hermann Hospital.
