Pennsylvania Man Killed in Coal Truck Accident

Armstrong County, Pa. officials have identified a man killed on Thursday in a coal truck accident, according to WPXI News. Armstrong County Coroner Brian Myers has identified the man as Daniel Seitz, 37.

About the Fatal Coal Truck Accident

Authorities say the accident happened on Thursday afternoon on Route 422 near the exit for Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in East Franklin Township, Pa.

Seitz was traveling east on Route 422 in a 1993 Toyota Corolla when he crossed the path of a GMC Terrain. The Terrain hit his brakes to avoid hitting the Corolla, causing a tri-axle coal truck behind the Terrain had to swerve as well. Unfortunately the coal truck rolled over the Corolla. Seitz was pronounced dead at the scene.
