Police Investigate Suspected Drunk Driving Crash

According to KSAT, a 35-year-old pregnant woman was killed in a crash in San Antonio involving a suspected drunk driver early Saturday – she died during surgery.

Details of the Suspected Drunk Driving Accident

The crash occurred on 5900 block of South Presa around 12:45 a.m. The driver fled the scene of the accident on foot.

Other passengers in the woman’s vehicle were her husband and a 1-year-old baby. The husband is in critical condition; the baby did not sustain any serious injuries.

The suspect was arrested after a witness caught the man and returned him to the scene. He is facing DWI and failure to stop aid charges.
