Police in Houston are currently looking for the driver who hit and killed a woman.

Details about the Fatal Pedestrian Accident

Multiple sources are reporting that Houston police are investigating an accident in which a woman was hit and killed in the downtown area over the weekend on Saturday.

Police have stated that, at about 12:15 a.m., witnessed reported that they saw a woman lying in a moving lane of traffic on the 2200 block of San Jacinto Street, when a white four door BMW ran over the woman.

The driver stopped the vehicle a little further down the road, got out of the vehicle, and then left the scene of the accident.

Police have further stated that the woman was homeless, and that this was not the first time the woman has been found lying in the street. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Houston Police Department.
