Police Search for Trucker Responsible for Violent Crash

Destiny Baker2 years ago

State Police in Louisiana are searching for the driver of a tractor-trailer that ran a car off of I-310, injuring both of the vehicle's occupants.

Trucker Runs Car of the Road

According to the St. Charles. Herald Guide, Louisiana authorities have designated the crash as a non-contact hit-and-run.

Reports indicate that the victims of the hit-and-run were traveling along I-310 last week when a semi merged into their lane, causing the driver of the Taurus to swerve to avoid the 18-wheeler.

The back tires of the Taurus hit the grass, and the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car flipped several times, leaving both the driver and the passenger with significant injuries including multiple broken bones.

Police believe the truck driver may not have known about the accident, but is at fault nonetheless.
