Roby Trucking Company Fails Safety Inspection

Brian Hendricks1 year ago

According to ABC 7 News, the Roby Trucking Company in Vallejo, California has failed its third safety inspection.

About the Company’s Safety Problems

Last March, one of the company’s trucks smashed into a restaurant in Pittsburg, California. The crash killed the driver, an employee of Roby Trucking.

At the time of the accident, the Roby Trucking Company had already failed two safety inspections. The most recent failure prompted the company to pull more than half of their trucks out of service due to safety concerns.

In addition to the three safety inspection failures, there have been several former Roby Trucking employees speaking out about the issue. One former employee claimed the owners of the company specifically told him to avoid highway safety inspections at all costs. The former employee also said the trucking company regularly ignored safety concerns associated with tires, brakes, and oil lines.

National Trucking Accident Statistics
