About the San Antonio Bus Accident

The San Antonio Express-News is reporting the accident which occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Cervalo Street and Allende Street. A Nissan Altima traveling south on Allende Street failed to see a stop sign and entered the intersection where it struck a Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling east on Cervalo. The impact of the crash caused the Trailblazer to crash into a VIA bus. The bus then struck a mailbox, drove through a fence, and crashed into the side of a house located in the 2600 block of Cervalo.

Four people sustained minor injuries in the crash. The report says the drivers of both vehicles were injured, a child passenger in the Altima, and one passenger on the bus. The injured bus passenger was the only passenger on the bus at the time.
