San Antonio Pedestrian Hospitalized After Car Accident

According to KSAT 12 News, man is currently in the hospital after he was hit by a vehicle early Monday morning, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Details about the Pedestrian Accident

The accident was reported to police just before 8 a.m. on McCarty Road, which is found near the intersection of San Pedro Avenue and West Ramsey Road on the north side of the city. Police further revealed that the man was hit by the vehicle as he was walking across the street. The vehicle that hit the man appears to have damage in which the windshield may have caved in on impact.

The man who was injured in the incident suffered from non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The driver of the vehicle that struck the man stopped to render aid, according to police, and is not expected to face any charges.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
