San Antonio Pedestrian in Critical Condition after Hit-and-Run

A man is in critical condition after a collision with a hit-and-run driver.

KSAT 12 News is reporting that police have said that they are looking for the driver of a vehicle who hit a man during the overnight hours and failed to stop and render aid to the victim.

According to San Antonio police, the accident happened just after 11:30 p.m on Monday evening. near the intersection of Vantage Driver and Pine Brook Drive, which is off Interstate 10 on the north side of the city.

Police further states that the man who was hit is in his 50s, and was walking down Vantage Drive when he was hit by a dark colored sedan. The man suffered a head injury in the accident and was taken to University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition at this time.

Police say the vehicle may have been a Chrysler 300, and that the driver could face multiple charges. An investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
