Tina Robinson3 years ago

A San Antonio woman is being treated for serious injuries after the car she was riding in was struck by an oncoming vehicle this morning, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

Details of the Car Crash

Police say that a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 50-year-old man ran a red light before colliding with a Miata convertible in the process of making a left turn. A 46-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the convertible, sustained what police described as “massive head trauma” and had to be cut from the vehicle. No injuries to the driver of either vehicle were reported.

The accident happened at U.S. 281 and TPC Parkway in San Antonio, TX around 9 a.m. Thursday morning. The identities of those involved in the accident have not been released.

The driver of the Tahoe was arrested at the scene and will be charged with driving on a suspended license. Police do not believe alcohol or speed were a factor in the collision.
