School Bus Accident in Detroit Suspected to be Result of Road Rage

Emma D'Arpino5 months ago

WXYZ reported that a head-on school bus accident occurred at 15 Mile Road and Dequindre in Sterling Heights on Friday morning.  The police believe that the accident was the result of a road rage incident between two vehicles.

About the School Bus Accident

Divon Yono, a witness of the accident, said that after Yono honked at the driver of an SUV, that driver then became aggressive.  Yono said the driver got out of his car, ripped off one of Yono’s windshield wipers, and then hit Yono’s vehicle a little further up the road.  After the car hit Yono’s vehicle, the car spun off and hit the school bus head-on.

There were 27 kids riding the school bus when it got hit, and two students were injured.  One of those students was taken to the hospital with a possible head injury.  The suspected aggressive driver was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries, and now is in police custody.
