School Bus Accident Kills One in Pennsylvania

Police in Monroe Township, Pennsylvania have released the name of the victim in a deadly accident involving a school bus.

Details about the Fatal Accident

WGAL News is reporting that a school bus was involved in a fatal accident with a car on Tuesday afternoon in Cumberland County. The accident happened just before 1 p.m. in the afternoon at West Tindle Road and Locust Point Road in Monroe Township.

The bus was from the Cumberland Valley School District.

There were students on board the bus at the time of the accident, but officials say that none of them suffered any major injuries. One of the students had a nosebleed and another complained of a small head injury.

The front seat passenger in the car that the school bus hit was killed, and three other people in the car were taken to the Hershey Medical Center.

Police say the victim, 20-year-old Sadie Wells, of Kaysville, Utah, was killed when the school bus failed to make a stop at a stop sign and hit the passenger side of the car that Wells was riding in.

There is no word on whether or not any charges will be filed.
