Details about the Fatal Accident Involving the Teacher

Multiple sources are reporting that a second-grade teacher in North Carolina has died after he was hit by a bus from a day care center in his school’s parking lot.

Local media outlets in the area of the accident are reporting that the victim, 25-year-old Brandon Kincaid was hit by a private bus from a day care at around 8 a.m. this morning in Goldsboro.

Kincaid was taken to the hospital where he later died.

An investigation is currently underway. Kincaid was a teacher at the Meadow Lane Elementary School and the Goldsboro City School say that the man was only in his second year of teaching.

Ken Derksen, a spokesman for the school system has said that Kincaid had a physical disability that required him to be in a wheelchair, but Spokesman Derksen was unable to confirm whether or not the victim was in the wheelchair when the bus hit him at the scene of the accident.
