Seven Injured in LA Hit-and-Run

According to the L.A. Times, a 35-year-old man is facing felony charges for hitting two pedestrians and a vehicle holding four people in two separate accidents in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday.

Details of the Hit-and-Run Accident

The incident remains under investigation, but preliminary reports indicate the man ran a red light at the intersection of 4th and Wall Street before striking two women at the intersection of 8th and Main Street. The driver then left the scene of the pedestrian accident only to collide with another vehicle less than a block away.

The collision caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle and collided with a traffic sign. He was detained by police as he exited the vehicle.

The suspect and victims have been treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The name of the suspect has not been released.
