SKLZ Recoil 360™ All-Position Resistance Trainers Recalled
Pro Performance has issued a recall for 52,000 SKLZ Recoil 360™ All-Position Resistance Trainers after reports suggest the weld from the resistance trainer can break, causing serious injury.
About the Resistance Trainer Recall
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has received several injury reports in connection with the product, including reports of blunt trauma, puncture wounds, and lacerations.
The CPSC recommends that consumers immediately discontinue use of the recalled resistance trainers.
They also recommend that consumers contact SKLZ as soon to return the resistance trainer for a free replacement trainer.
Description of the Recalled Resistance Trainer
- The resistance trainer contains a belt, a safety handle, an 8-foot flexible cord attachment leash, and a storage bag.
- The resistance trainer was sold at different sporting good and fitness stores around the US. These stores include Dick’s Sporting Goods and Academy LTD. The product could also be ordered online from SKLZ.com and Amazon.com.
- Units were sold between January 2013 and December 2014 for $40.
- The recalled products were manufactured in China and imported by Pro Performance Sports LLC of Carlsbad, California.
