Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident

The Denver Post is reporting that one man was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened on Wednesday morning on the 10500 block of Irma Drive, according to police.

Police have further stated that the accident happened at about 7:30 a.m., when, according to witnesses, the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed heading south on Irma Drive. The motorcycle then collided with a truck that was making a left turn in front of the motorcycle.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene of the accident, they took the male driver to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His identity and other information is currently being withheld pending notification of family members.

An investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
