About the Stryker Lawsuit
According to MassDevice, Baxter Regional Medical Center in Arkansas is suing Stryker because it suffered losses when the company recalled its Rejuvenate and ABG II hip implants.
The goal of the lawsuit is to reimburse the hospital for patient counseling and revision surgeries caused by the improper hip replacements.
As of now, there is no answer from Stryker about the lawsuit.
Stryker to Per Recalled Unit
- The recalled hip implants are Rejuvenate and ABG II.
- Stryker agreed to pay up to $300,000 per implant to patients, but nothing yet to healthcare providers.
- The payments are to reimburse Baxter Regional Medical Center for patient counseling and revision surgeries.
