Suspected Drunk Driver Drives into Convention Center

According to Fox31 Denver, a truck drove into the Colorado Convention Center, injuring two people.

Denver Police and the DUI Crash

A pickup truck came storming through the center doors of the Colorado Convention Center Monday night. A witness to the scene stated that they saw the truck go up the sidewalk and then smash right through the doors. A large hole has been left in the entrance of the convention center as a result of the car smashing through the doors.

The driver of the truck was identified as Randolph Blazon, age 25. According to police, Blazon showed multiple signs of impairment and was arrested for investigation on the grounds of driving under the influence as well as careless driving resulting in injury.

Two people were transported with minor laceration injuries as a result of the crash. Specific details about their injuries have not been given.
