Suzuki Motorcycles Recalled- Crash Hazard
American Suzuki Motor Corporation is recalling GSX-R1000 motorcycles due to a potential crash hazard.
Suzuki GSX-R1000 Recall
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), these motorcycles pose a serious crash risk because loose bolts may cause the side stand interlock switch to fail. If this occurs, the malfunctioning interlock switch will cause the engine to stop running, and increase the risk of a crash.

- Recall involves Suzuki GSX-R1000 (2009-2011)
- Suzuki Campaign Number: 2A29
- NHTSA Campaign ID number : 12V231000
This make and model Suzuki motorcycle is sold nationwide and as many as 4,969 machines could have been affected by the recall.
