Taser Weapons Factory Explosion Injures Seven
Seven workers at the Arizona based operations company that makes taser weapons were injured – one critically – after an explosion at the factory last Thursday.
About the Taser Factory Explosion
According to Reuters, the blast occurred at the end of the work day when workers were cleaning up and shutting down the production line. Seven of the employees at the factory were injured.
Six of the workers reported concussion-related symptoms and are in stable condition; however, one employee was taken to a burn unit with life-threatening injuries.
Following the incident, about 400 workers were evacuated from the building as a precaution.

- A total of 4,585 workers were killed on the job in 2013 – this averages to more than 12 deaths every day.
- 4,101 of those deaths occurred in the private industry with 828 deaths being attributed to construction accidents.
