Teague Rollover Kills Four

A three-vehicle rollover accident in which three people were killed happened on Wednesday afternoon in Texas.

Details about the Fatal Accident

KWTX News is reporting that a three-vehicle accident that happened on Wednesday afternoon near Teague took the lives of four people.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, 76-year-old Linda Nicholas Huffman, 78-year-old Janice Sartor Turner, and 30-year-old Michael James Jackson were all pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and 80-year-old Martha Brown Tuner was pronounced dead at the Fairfield Hospital.

25-year-old Joshua Bradley Thompson was also transported to the Fairfield Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and then later released.

Police say the accident happened at about 5:15 p.m. along US Highway 84, which is just about one mile east of Teague. A report from the accident indicates that Jackson was the driver of a 2001 Mercury Sable and was heading east when he drifted into the oncoming lane and his vehicle collided head-on with a 2000 Chevy Tahoe that was being driven by Huffman.

A third vehicle that was being driven by Thompson, hit the Tahoe after the initial collision. The force of that impact sent the pickup truck and the SUV off the road, causing the SUV to overturn.
