A teenager was killed after he was hit by multiple vehicles in an overnight accident.

Details about the Fatal Pedestrian Accident

WRDW News is reporting that a teenager was killed while he was riding his bike on Farmers Bridge Road in Burke County on Wednesday evening.

Officials from the Georgia State Patrol have indicated that the 13-year-old male was riding his bicycle heading north in the southbound lane of Farmers Bridge Road at about 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening against traffic and was hit by another vehicle.

The teenager was then hit two more times by two other vehicles. The first and second vehicles stopped after the accident, but the third vehicle did not stop and continued on the road. The Georgia State Patrol has stated that it is possible that the third driver was unaware what he or she hit.

No charges have been filed against any of the drivers involved in the accident.
