Teenager Killed in Florida Pedestrian Accident

A Louisiana teenager is dead after he was struck by a motorist at the intersection of South Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Details on the Fatal Traffic Crash

According to WJHG, police were called to the scene of a traffic crash just after midnight on Thurdsday in Panama City Beach, Florida. A SUV had driven onto the sidewalk, crashed into a utility pole, and struck and killed a pedestrian.

Police say the deceased pedestrian is identified as 17-year -old Mark Garrard Robertson of Opelousas, Louisiana.

The SUV driver was identified as 50-year-old Ms. Lee Creary. After she was treated for minor injuries, Ms. Creary was later booked into the Bay County Jail on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Additional charges are pending.
