Teenager Killed in North Richland Hills Crash

A 15-year-old girl was killed and her mother was seriously injured when their car was struck by another vehicle Saturday evening.

About the Fatal Crash

According to Star-Telegram, Kendall Clark, 15, was fatally injured around 7 p.m. Saturday, when her mother’s vehicle was broadsided by a Jeep on the 5500 block of Rufe Snow Road. The Terrant County listed Kendall’s cause of death as blunt force injury to the neck.

Kendall’s mother sustained serious injuries in the accident, and, as of Sunday, remains in critical condition. The driver of the Jeep was treated at the scene.

Police investigating the scene do not believe alcohol, drugs, or speed to be factors in the collision.

  • 1,333 deaths were linked to accidents that occurred in rural areas, and 767 deaths were attributed to crashes that occurred at or in relation to an intersection.
  • Another 232,041 people were injured in auto accidents with 89,270 people suffering serious injuries.
