Community members from two Texas towns came together in efforts to help the children of a couple that was killed in a fatal trucking accident last week.

About the Fatal Accident

According to KXII, the fatal accident occurred in Bonham, taking three lives. The accident happened Tuesday off of U.S. Highway 69 south of Leonard.

The couple's SUV collided head-on with a tractor-trailer rig. The fatalities include Tiane Wright, 32, and her fiance, Torrey Brown, 37. They also lost a 13-month-old child.

The towns of Bonham and Leonard came together to help the three orphaned children of Wright and Brown. The children are all elementary school aged.

To help pay for funeral costs, Bonham ISD hosted a fundraiser on Friday at the boys and girls varsity basketball games.
