About the Houston Motorcycle Accident

According to the Beaumont Enterprise, the driver, Paul Dickson, was driving his motorcycle on Texas 73 in Jefferson County, Texas when he apparently lost control of his vehicle, causing him to drive off of the roadway.

Dickson was thrown from the motorcycle after driving into a tree line and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators stated the man was wearing a helmet while driving his 2006 Harley Davidson.

Although Dickson is not suspected of intoxication, Justice of the Peace Ray Chesson has ordered an autopsy.

There were no other vehicles damaged or people injured in connection with the single-vehicle accident.
