Texas Woman Killed in New Mexico Accident

A Texas woman was killed in a car accident near Roswell, New Mexico.

Details about the Fatal Accident

The Current-Argus is reporting that a woman from Texas was killed after the car she was traveling in rolled over multiple times just outside of Roswell, New Mexico.

According to New Mexico State Police, 33-year-old Sandra Soria, from Canutillo, Texas, was a passenger in a vehicle whose tire blew out while traveling along U.S. 70, just west of Roswell, at about 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

Soria was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the vehicle at the time of the accident, 35-year-old Ana Maria Soria, and two teenage boys were also severely injured in the accident.

They were all airlifted to University Medical Hospital in Lubbock, Texas to be treated for their injuries.

The other three passengers in the vehicle, 72-year-old Alfredo Soria, and two other teenage girls were transported to Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell for treatment for their injuries.

State police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances that led up to the accident.
