Details about the Fatal Florida Accident

Multiple sources are reporting that three young girls were killed in a car accident that happened in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Florida in the early evening hours on Memorial Day, according to authorities.

The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the driver of the vehicle as Latorya Brown of Leesburg. Officials from the Highway Patrol have stated that she was driving a Dodge Durango when she lost control of her vehicle at about 6:40 p.m. There were 10 passengers in the SUV at the time of the accident.

Some of the victims were treated at the scene of the accident for their injuries and then released. A preliminary investigation into the cause of the accident may have revealed that a front tire likely malfunctioned, causing the SUV to flip.
