Three Dead in Houston Gliding Accident

A three-year-old boy and two adults died in a glider crash in Wallis, Texas last Sunday (June 18, 2012). According to reports, the glider, which was being towed by a small plane, “took a nose dive and crashed into the ground” as soon as it was released. The plane was owned and operated by Greater Houston Soaring Association, a company that offers recreational gliding tours. The accident remains under investigation.
