Details About the Fire Truck Accident

WSBTV News is reporting that three sisters and three firefighters were hurt in an accident that happened on Wednesday afternoon that involved a fire truck. The youngest girl who was involved in the accident, age 6, was in cardiac arrest as soon as she got out of the vehicle, according to a witness at the scene of the accident.

Other witnesses say the child was not breathing, but was revived by firefighters who were inside the truck they collided with.

According to investigators, the girl, identified as Alhirah Muhammad, was not in a booster seat of any kind during the accident but was buckled into the front passenger seat of the vehicle. Three firefighters were on board the truck when a black Mercedes ran a red light and collided with the fire truck.
