Three Killed in Large Truck Accident in Nebraska

A total of three people were killed in an accident that happened on Wednesday in Nebraska.

Details about the Fatal Accident

KNOP News is reporting that a fatal accident happened on Highway 83 just before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, a tanker truck and a pickup truck collided with each other.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department further stated that a silver pickup truck hit the semi-truck head-on. The semi-truck was heading south in its own lane at the time of the collision. Two people were killed and another person died as he was being taken to Great Plains Health Hospital.

There is an ongoing investigation between the Nebraska State Patrol and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Traffic was rerouted for a time after the accident due to the preliminary investigation into the cause and circumstances of the accident.
