Details about the Fatal Truck Accident

Multiple Sources are reporting that three people were killed in an accident in which a tractor trailer and a vehicle collided on a westbound stretch of Interstate 84. A portion of the Interstate was closed for several hours after the accident.

New York State Police have confirmed that the three people who were killed in the accident were in the vehicle during the collision that happened at about 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning near Exit 3 in the town of Wawayanda. The town is about 60 miles north of New York City.

At this time, not other information has been released by troopers, other than the fact that an investigation into the circumstances and the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
